March was a weird month. It was the month that I had finals for my winter quarter so I had a lot going on there with finishing up my classes and researching and writing essays. I also had a lot going on with the club I’m in so I was pretty damn busy last quarter. So I guess it makes sense that I didn’t finish a single physical book.
I think I’m going through a thing with physical books. I don’t know. Maybe I’m addicted to audiobooks. Can someone even be addicted to audiobooks? If it can happen I probably am. Shout-out to my library for enabling my addiction!
Here’s a recap of what I wanted to read this past month:i
That’s not too bad right? It’s got a good number of physical books to e-books to audiobooks. I tend to have more audiobooks anyway so that makes sense. Also, the physical books I wanted to read are either on the shorter side or very engaging so I thought it would be easy to do. Apparently not. Clearly I didn’t realize the extent of my audiobook addiction. Ok, all jokes aside, I think I had a pretty solid TBR for March and I thought I would be able to do it! Which I don’t know why I thought that because I never complete any TBR. I should probs work on that…
Anyway, here’s what I actually ended up reading in March.

Red Winter – Annette Marie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dark Tempest – Annette Marie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Immortal Fire – Annette Marie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Circe – Madeline Miller ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

The Crimson Crown – Cinda Williams Chima ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Renegades – Marissa Meyer ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love & Gelato – Jenna Evans Welch ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Flamecaster – Cinda Williams Chima ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ruby Red – Kerstin Gier ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Sapphire Blue – Kerstin Gier ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

The Girl of Fire and Thorns – Rae Carson ⭐️⭐️.5

The Young Elites – Marie Lu ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Physical Books:

I didn’t finish any physical books but I started Becoming! I’m liking it a lot so far. I actually almost started crying while reading it because she’s so great. Which I think just goes to show how much of an emotional mess I was this past month.
I also spent a lot of my time this past month binging Netflix shows. I “discovered” The Umbrella Academy thanks to my friends and family who kept telling me that I should watch it and that I would like it. Well they were wrong. I love it. It’s in my top 3 favorite shows ever which I think is a pretty impressive feat. On top of finding a new favorite show I found a new favorite series, finished an old favorite series, and just had a pretty great reading month over all.
How was your reading in March?
I’ve heard such great things about Becoming, I’m so excited to read it! I hope you end up loving it 🙂
