Book Character’s I’d Love to be Besties With | I def. have a type

You know how when you’re reading a book and you start really vibing with a character? It doesn’t have to be the main character, sometimes it’s a side character because they’re just as valid. Side 👏 characters 👏 have 👏 feelings 👏 too. But you’re sitting there, reading that book, completely immersed in the world, and you start thinking “wow, I want to be friends with this character so bad”. Has that ever happened to you?

That’s what today’s Top Ten Tuesday is all about. Those characters that make you have friend crushes on them. Now, if you’re not sure what Top Ten Tuesday is, it’s a meme hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl in which a topic is chosen and the challenge is to make a top 10 list based on that topic!

Characters (and groups since I’m indecisive) I want to be BFFs with:

Sophie – Howl’s Moving Castle

Sophie is frickin awesome. During the book she becomes a strong, independent woman who don’t need no man and doesn’t take any bs from anyone. I’ve wanted to be friends with her since I first read the book back in middle school.

Elizabeth – Pride and Prejudice

At this point I think everyone who’s read the book wants to be her friend. I’m with it though.

The Raven Cycle Crew (I can’t pick just one)

I loooooove this crew. They have their ups and downs but they’re there for each other through everything and they’re willing to go off on crazy adventures looking for the Raven King. All I want is to go off on those crazy adventures too.

Sev – Crown of Feathers

This dude struggles with a lot during this book, but despite everything set against him he’s still the kind of person that cares about others and will put himself in danger to ensure their safety. I love him. In a friend way.

Lazlo Strange – Strange the Dreamer

He’s weird but in a good way. He loves books and prefers them to people and I feel like he’d be the kind of friend you would go to when you need advice.

Elisabeth – Sorcery of Thorns

Another book weirdo! Clearly I’ve got a type. She’d be fun to just chill with, maybe save the world with idk though.

Raisa – Seven Realms Series

Ughhhh I cannot express how much I love her. She’s badass, loyal, and I just have no words I want to be friends with her so badddd.

Lira & Elian – To Kill A Kingdom

They both got so many issuessss but I love them anyway. And they also have a badass crew. Can you tell I want to be part of a crew?

Fred & George – Harry Potter

I mean… they would be the best people to be friends with. Imagine pulling pranks with them!!! Or being on the Quidditch team with them! Oooooh I’ve wanted it for forever.

Percy Jackson – Percy Jackson

It’s been my wish since late elementary school to be friends with him. And that’s all I’ll say on that.
