September Recap| Anything But Reading…

Happy Hallow-month!!!

Alrighty my bookish friends, I have something to confess. I only read a single book in September.

I know. I know. I’m in a slump and I’m pretty upset about it. I mean, Fall is the best reading month! It’s getting colder outside and now we have an excuse to stay inside snuggled up with a tea and warm blankets and read all day. But for some reason I just didn’t want to do that in September! I mean, I have been pretty busy in the past couple months so when I did have time to relax I usually just turned on Netflix, but I don’t like not reading for so long! I’ve got so many books I want to read and only so much time!!!

In September I managed to read Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I think I said it last month, but I want to read all the Harry Potter books before the end of the year. It’s been quite a while since I’ve read the entire series, and the holiday season puts me in the Harry Potter mood.

Since I didn’t read like… at all in September, you may be wondering what I did instead. So here is what I spent my time on in September instead of reading:

Reading Webtoons. My favorites are Lore Olympus, Gourmet Hound, Let’s Play, Edith, and Muted. If you like reading comics and supporting small artists and comic authors I would highly suggest checking them out!

Playing Love Island the game. It’s an addiction, I swear. I don’t even watch the TV show… I was introduced to it last year through Noel and Cody and I just keep playing it. The most recent season comes to an end this Tuesday and I’m excited to see what they’re going to do with it next year. They have a lot to improve on in terms of storytelling and writing, but it’s still a fun game to pass the time with. Or become possibly too invested in.

Binging Netflix. I binged Mindhunter. It was amazing. I then binged Big Mouth because the new season just came out so I needed a refresher of that. Annnnnd I started a couple cheesy shows cause sometimes you just gotta do that.

Listening to Podcasts. I LOVE PODCASTS!!! My favorites (in no particular order) are: And That’s Why We Drink, Why Won’t You Date Me, and Overdue. If you have any suggestions or podcasts that you love let me know! I’m always searching for more!

So that’s that for my September Recap! I’ve made a TBR for October so I’ll be posting that tomorrow. I NEED to get over this slump! I can’t put all this reading weather to waste!
