This is a day late… I tried ok? I just finished my finals last week and had no time to do anything but work on my final papers and study. BUT NOW I’M FREE!!!
This readathon was created by Book Roast on YouTube, who is one of my favorite booktubers. If you watch booktube and are into Harry Potter then you should check her out! And if you aren’t into either of those she creates fun readathons anyway. This one is pretty seasonally appropriate, and since it hasn’t snowed even a little bit where I live I have to do other things to make me feel like it’s actually almost Christmas.
For this readathon I will be attempting to read along a path of choices that I would actually want to do rather than what I have or want to read. This may cause this to be a little difficult considering I don’t own that many books on my TBR. We shall see what happens. This readathon goes from December 17th to December 26th so I’ll have PLENTY of time (hopefully) to finish all of these books! If I finish all of these books then I’ll be over my Goodreads reading goal for the year which would be amazinggggg.
Finish Your Coursework – finish your current read
Pride and Prejudice (and finish listening to Snow Like Ashes)
Have a Snowball Fight with the Weasley Twins – a book you think will be funny
Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares (if that doesn’t turn out funny I always have Milk and Vine lol)
Visit the Three Broomsticks for Mulled Pixie Wine (or Butterbeer if you don’t drink) – a book that will only take you a day/evening
The Wedding Planner’s Daughter or The Bad Beginning
Attend the Yule Ball – a book you’ve been preparing yourself for
Between Shades of Grey
Use the Invisibility Cloak to Enter the Restricted Section – read a banned book
Slaughterhouse-Five or The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime
Attend the Christmas Feast – watch a Harry Potter movie
Depending on what I am doing and where I am when this happens I might not be able to do this part. I’ll try to do something Harry Potter related. Or at least wear something Harry Potter related. It’s the little things haha.
